Terme di Sirmione – SPA & Thermal Garden is located in Piazza Don A. Piatti 1, in the heart of the historic center of Sirmione and just a few minutes walk from the Scaliger Castle.

Take the A4 Milan-Venice motorway, exit at Sirmione, and follow the signs to the historic centre of Sirmione. Leave your car in the Monte Baldo public car park, 700 m from the village. After a 15-minute walk in the pedestrian area, you will find yourself at your destination. We recommend you to leave in advance: the Sirmione peninsula is among the most visited sights in the area and is, therefore, popular. On busy days, queues and searching for parking area often slow down your arrival.

Terme di Sirmione – SPA & Thermal Garden is open every day at the following times: Sunday – Thursday | 09:00 am – 10:00 pm Friday – Saturday | 09:00 am – 12:00 am
Before entering the facility, you must take your clothes off in the changing rooms, which are equipped with all the necessary facilities, such as showers, hairdryers and lockers in which to replace your personal belongings. Also included in your entrance, you will find a welcome kit with bathing cap and towel and, if provided in the entry type, soft bathrobe. A swimming costume and slippers are mandatory and must be worn from the changing area. We advise against taking valuables with you: as well as oxidising in contact with the thermal water, there are no safes in which to keep them.
To access and benefit from the properties of Thermal Water at SPA & Thermal Garden, a reservation is always required. Otherwise, entry is not guaranteed. Reservations can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to arrival and rescheduled within 6 months from the date of cancellation.
There are no general contraindications to the use of thermal pools, soft sauna or steam baths. However, the use of the Finnish sauna and whirlpool baths is not recommended.
They can benefit from the Thermal Water and its multiple actions on the body, skin and breath. If accompanied by an adult, children from 2½ to 16 years of age are admitted.

If a prescription from a specialist doctor (issued within the last 60 days) is presented, a meeting with the referring specialist doctor at the facility who will draw up a treatment plan is sufficient, in which case the fee is € 30. If the prescription from the external specialist also includes a rehabilitation therapy plan or is supplemented with a document of equal value from a physical therapy center, rehabilitation treatment can be accessed directly.

Yes, this allows everyone to take advantage of one contracted cycle of spa therapies per year by submitting a request from the family doctor or the general pediatrician or ASST Specialist on a red prescription. This cycle involves the provision of a set number of treatments for 12 days. The validity of the prescription for spa treatments is 365 days.
Everyone, except exempt categories, is subject to payment of the co-payment on spa treatments, including the medical examination for admission and the related 12-day course of treatment. The full fee is €55, and the fee for partially exempt categories is €3.10.
If the prescription is not filled correctly, Terme di Sirmione cannot in any way modify or supplement it. The prescription must therefore be resubmitted, in original, with the necessary corrections and/or additions. Alternatively, with a deposit of € 75, one can access the treatment, but only by anticipating the corrected prescription by fax or email and having the original received within three days of the start of treatment.
The course of convention spa therapies should be completed within 60 days, although for greater therapeutic effectiveness, it is recommended that they be done continuously.

In case of pregnancy, inform the spa doctor who will assess eligibility depending on the spa treatment to be given, the patient’s physical health condition, and the period of gestation.
For mud-balneotherapy and massage treatments you must be provided with a bathrobe and slippers, which otherwise must be rented or purchased from the Store. The bathrobe can be rented at the facility for € 2.50 per day or 6 days for € 10 or 12 days for € 20. Also, since the sulfur water tends to oxidize metal and silver objects, it is suggested not to wear them during treatments.

1. The first step is to present yourself in Acceptance/Cash-desk, where your reservation, personal information and prescription will be verified. If it is a private visit, payment is made.
2. From there you go to the outpatient clinic for the visit.
3. Finally you return to the cashier for payment of any treatment and/or co-payments.

What is the main feature of the Terme di Sirmione cosmetics?
All the Terme di Sirmione cosmetics are formulated with 100% pure, naturally antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and soothing sulphurous salsobromoiodic thermal water, a real relief for the well-being of your skin.
Thanks to the formulation with 100% sulphurous salsobromoiodic water, Terme di Sirmione products are very gentle and suitable for even the most sensitive skin. We suggest, however, that you refer to the individual product datasheets to find out the instructions for using a specific product.
Each product is accompanied by a product datasheet explaining its properties, formulation and method for use. You can view these to find out more.

In the product datasheet, the main active ingredients in the formulation are listed under “Ingredients”, as well as the complete INCI list.
Please note, however, that the ingredients may vary slightly, so we suggest always referring to the list on the product packaging itself. To learn more about each ingredient, please visit the Glossary page.

The Terme di Sirmione products are formulated with 100% sulphurous salsobromoiodic thermal water, with recognised soothing and anti-inflammatory properties; they are therefore well tolerated by even the most sensitive skin. They are, however, cosmetic products, which are not a replacement for therapy indicated by a dermatologist in the presence of specific skin diseases.

The face serum should be used before applying the cream by tapping it on with your fingers. Remember to cleanse the skin before applying the serum.

The Thermal Water of Terme di Sirmione is classified as mineral water, bacteriologically pure and hyperthermal, because it gushes out at a temperature of 69°C. Based on its chemical-physical characteristics, the water of Terme di Sirmione is identified as sulphurous salso-bromo-iodine as it is composed of sulphur, sodium chloride, iodine, bromine and trace elements such as manganese, selenium and zinc for an effective moisturising action and a marked soothing activity.

If you have dry skin, use a mild cleanser and immediately apply a moisturising toner. Follow up with a hyaluronic acid serum and a cream rich in moisturising actives. During the day, don’t forget sunscreen; at night, use a nourishing night cream. Exfoliate gently a couple of times a week and maintain adequate hydration by drinking plenty of water.

If you have oily skin, use a mild cleanser that regulates sebum, followed by an astringent toner. Apply a light serum and an oil-free moisturiser. Exfoliate gently a couple of times a week and maintain adequate hydration by drinking plenty of water.

If you have combination skin, use a mild cleanser that balances the skin, followed by a toner. Apply a light serum with hyaluronic acid to moisturise dry areas and control oil in oily areas. Use a light moisturiser and sunscreen during the day. Exfoliate gently a couple of times a week and maintain adequate hydration by drinking plenty of water.

If you have impure skin, use a mild cleanser, followed by an astringent tonic. Apply a purifying clay or mud mask. Use a light, non-comedogenic moisturising cream. Exfoliate once or twice a week and maintain adequate moisture by drinking plenty of water.

If you have sensitive skin, use a mild, fragrance-free cleanser. Apply a light serum and cream based on thermal water. Use sunscreen with SPF50+. Avoid frequent exfoliation and choose gentle products. Keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun.

The eyes are an extremely delicate area. Choose a product that is fragrance-free and very moisturising. Prefer gel formulations, which can reduce swelling and tiredness in the eyes.

Considering the needs of mature skin, it is advisable to opt for a rich, moisturising product. Formulations enriched with anti-ageing ingredients are recommended. These help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve the elasticity of the skin around the eyes.

The products of Terme di Sirmione – Cosmetics Institute are also suitable for men due to their delicate formulations and fragrances.

Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally present in the human body, especially in the skin, where it plays several important roles. Its function may vary depending on its molecular weight. It is used in some facial products of Terme di Sirmione – Cosmetics Institute to maintain the water balance of the skin, increasing its volume and filling small wrinkles, for an Anti-Age effect.

Apply the mask evenly over the entire face, avoiding the eye and lip area, unless otherwise stated in the product instructions. You can use your fingers or a mask brush to apply it more precisely. Follow the product instructions for the recommended application time. Most masks are left on for about 10-20 minutes, but this may vary depending on the type of mask. Once the setting time has elapsed, if applicable, gently remove the mask with lukewarm water.

Sunscreen should be applied at least 30 minutes before exposure to the sun to allow the product to absorb and provide protection. It is important to apply it even if the sky is cloudy or if there is no direct sun, as UV rays can penetrate through clouds and cause damage to the skin. Sunscreen, even if it is water-resistant, should be reapplied every two hours or more frequently if you are immersed in water, sweat a lot or dry yourself with a towel.
